Dr. Erin Jewel Rosen has degrees in both Chiropractic and Kinesiology. She has also spent her life studying different aspects of health firsthand — as a competitive athlete, a yoga teacher, and a nutritional consultant.

As a 2nd generation Chiropractor, she uses these tools to expand her craft and to assess the unique needs of each of her patients. She specializes in Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), an indicator-based system which tailors care to the patient’s specific spinal and cranial patterns. This technique uses both low force and high velocity adjustments, making it a safe and adaptable approach for humans and animals across a wide variety of conditions.

In addition to years of practicing SOT, Dr. Erin Rosen has developed her craft to include soft tissue work, pre-natal/post-partum care, pediatrics, and neurological conditions, allowing her to work with more advanced health issues, including: pregnancy, sports injury, TMJ/TMD, acute pain, headache, visceral dysfunction, and extremity problems.

A Healthy System

The human body is designed to care for and heal itself. Embracing the power and strength of our bodies systems is the first step to A Healthy System. The nervous system plays the most important role in the strength and function of A Healthy System. It communicates and controls the actions and reactions of the body. It also controls the ability of growth, development, and healing within ones lifetime.

The home of the nervous system is the skeletal system. These two systems form the foundation to health and are the primary basis of Chiropractic care. The goal of the Chiropractic Adjustment is to remove disruption in and between the nervous system and the skeletal system to restore health and optimal functioning each and everyday. It is key to support our body and build a strong foundation before stresses, traumas, or repetitive lifestyle actions become too much to handle.

In order to develop and maintain health and healing, one must take responsibility for their body, lifestyle, environment, and relationships. The sign of a strong, healthy body and optimally functioning nervous system is the ability to respond and react optimally/properly to a full spectrum of environmental, physical, chemical, and emotional life factors.  This balance is monitored and controlled primarily by the central nervous system (CNS) which is the master controller of the body, working to maintain a homeostatic state within all aspects of life.

An interruption in functioning within any system of the body creates an aberrant communication or message within the CNS producing a 'note in the change.'. Once this is noticed, the body works to correct the aberrant shift of balance to a more homeostatic, optimally functioning state.
